Mirage... such a fun word

I got my job back at Kmart and I started today. It was fun, really it was. I went back and everyone was "Erica???? I didn't think you'd come back!!! () We're SOO glad to see you again!". Ha and my best friend there rocks my socks she walked in, " Do my eyes deceive me?". Me: "Yep, I'm a mirage". Yep, pretty much it. I'm in a guitar class at college... that shall be interesting. My Survey of the Humanities class is awesome and inspiring... to me that is. I really like the teacher though she really loves to dramatize every thing she says... seriously, she sounds like Captain Kirk (I think that's who I'm thinking of) when she talks. "Humanities... is the study... of being... HUMAN", she says it with so much... I don't know how to explain the way she talks though and how she's able to inspire me and how this class inspires me but it does. I just love that class, it makes me look forward to friday mornings. I recently did two drawings in the past week that were inspired by that class, that's more than I usually do (none) other than my random sketches, AND managed to finish the first page of my manga... comic... yea it's been 4 months since I started it and I copied it into the computer and I'm trying to screw with it without making it look muey horrible (yea... if that's wrong it's not my fault I havent taken a spanish class since junior year (about 3 years ago)). I've really gotta crack down on my english homework tomorrow... yea I'm the queen of procrastination.

La

"John Ford said: 'If you have a choice between the truth and fiction, print the fiction.' "

That's a quote from Stephen King's movie "Desperation"... *shiver* freaky man,  but good.

Cuz I've "Got The Time"

That was very sarcastic of you little bro. :p Fine, happy? I've posted some new stuff.

My training for the camp is on the fifth of June. So, I have about a week. Gah, we'll see how I fare when I meet all the other counselors (social situation and all).

I'll be tight on money until I start at the camp. I technically quit Kmart, last sunday was supposed to be my last day but i went in Tuesday to give Renee my discount card and the manager was back there. He was like where are you going? Long story short, he  tried to convince me to work weekends... I was cornered. I didn't like him talking to me... just too weird... I agreed to work Saturdays. PEER PRESSURE!!!... though he isnt my peer. My mom was being all chipper before we walked into the store before hand saying "you should tell her you can work weekends!". I've been thinking about it all week. I KNOW I will not survive and remain sane having only one day a week off. I'll go in the store sometime this week and tell Renee that next Saturday is my last.

Randomness: my forearms are all scratched up from my rats trying to get away from me... ^_^ but they're cute (... the rats... not the scratches) so it's worth it.

I'm also working on turning my vampire story (hopefully a novel in the future) into a manga (I guess you could call it a Japanese comic book).
